Two Irish fathers heartbreak as Mom abducts kids to Africa...

Two Irish fathers are heartbroken after the mother of their kids abducted them and fled to Zambia.

Richard Quarry, father to Ethan (7) from Kinsale, Co Cork, and Patrick Beary, father to Troy (2) from Douglas, Co Cork, are still attempting to come to terms with how the boys' mother, Elizabeth was able to flee with the kids to Zambia without the authorities finding out since according to Richard, who has full custody and also has his sons passport along with a court order preventing her from taking the boy to Zambia.

He said he had given permission for the mother to have the boys for a few days as they have a flexible custody arrangement.  But after 4 days, he tried to contact the mom but her phone was no more and he became worried.  He later found out she has fled to Zambia and reported the matter to the Irish police who also had no ideal how she fled the country.

Both fathers have since traveled to Zambia in a bid to bring back their kids and were shocked to see the dire conditions the kids were living in.

They contacted the Zambia police who demanded to see documentations before Mrs Elizabeth could be detained.  However, because she is now living in Zambia and the kids legitimate mother, the Irish courts is unable to issue any valid warrant.

The fathers speak to their sons about once a week, with Mr Richard stating that his son often comes across as quite glum, but as his mother is on the line with the kids, he cannot ask him what is wrong.

"She is listening so I can't ask how he likes Zambia, or if he is unhappy, nothing like that.  I can't ask why he hasn't been to school in six months," Mr Richard said.
