While majority of it's members are dying in poverty, leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Adeboye recently acquired a Goldstream G550 luxury jet to add to his already growing collection of private jets.  This is coming on the heels of another pastor named TB Joshua who recently acquired a similar jet.  Check pic of jet inside
Nigerians have reacted with disgust after a leading preacher based in Lagos, Nigeria bought himself a Goldstream G550 luxury jet.  This is't the first time the same pastor has acquired such extravagant luxury for himself.  He is said to have previously bought himself 2 luxury jets to travel the world to preach the gospel.  Members question why the prosperity preacher do not like flying like normal citizens.  One said: Adeboye should stop deceiving his congregation and start helping the poor as Jesus did during his life time.  Another Nigerian questions why the pastor would want to live extravagant when the majority of his congregation live in abject poverty.  This has become a power play between Nigerian pastors in recent times of whom own the best private jet with all wanting to outdo each other.
