Racism: Fianna Fail's uproar over Nigerians sending €468 Million home from Ireland

This MP thinks it is a cause for concern that Nigerians sent €500 Million from Ireland to Nigeria in a year.  The spokesman for Fianna Fail's party Nail Collins has promised to raise the issue with Justice Minister Alan Shatter.

He said; "It raises a number of questions.  There may be legitimate and valid reason for the extremely large amounts of money being sent from Ireland to Nigeria, compared with the amounts being sent by other nationalities.  First of let me address that fact...

Nigerians lead a double life abroad.  First off we have families here and then have families in Nigeria who we take care of.  In our culture, one's you are better of, it is your duty to take care of your extended families back home like kids to members of your family.  Maybe that's the reason we send money back home.  How can you question the legitimacy of money sent when Nigerians have the lowest number of foreigners who commit crimes in Ireland?

Why single out Nigerians?  Have we not suffered enough?  It would interest you to know that when Fianna Fail' destroyed the Irish economy, the leader of the band of thieves of a party former Prime Minister Bertie Ahern ran to Nigerian to enrich himself.  Who have questioned how much he has sent home???  The Irish constructions companies currently having big contracts in Nigeria; who have questioned how much they have sent home?

MP Nial Collins went on "On the face of it, it has to be questioned.  I will be asking the minister to investigate and find out why."  How stupid is that statement "On the face of it"  Yeah on the face of it, it seems legit you fool. If you don't have proof do not make stupid accusations.  Ireland is not a destination for money laundering.  The bankers stole billions from the economy and your foolish party didn't do anything to them.  If you are looking for sympathy vote, it would interest you to know that more than 80% of foreigners now  have Irish Citizenship and believe me they would be going to the polls plus your dismal poll ratings would make sure you are kept out of government.

He concluded: "It raises a number of questions.  There may be legitimate and valid reason for the extremely large amounts of money being sent from Ireland to Nigeria, compared with the amounts sent by other nationalities."  For the record Mr Nail, Nigerians sent €468 Million home while the money sent into Ireland from its citizens is €560 Million.  €529 Million was sent to the United Kingdom and this fool didn't question it.  Poland has €174 Million sent home.
