Selfishness or Wickedness?

Jason Collins' ex fiancee Carolyn Moos yesterday admitted that she only knew he was gay just a day after he came out.

How can you pretend what you are not?  Yeah I understand the pressure of being manly and hide your true self.  The woman had to have known or at least suspect something.  Maybe she was in denial.  And also the whole praise thing and acting from the press as if it's fine to waste someone's life for a whole 8yrs..

I understand the pressure to deny homosexuality even to oneself is overwhelming.  Many gay men have married and fathered children only later to finally "come out".  Families have been destroyed as a result while some have managed to survive and move forward.
